Jazz Guitar My first attempt at creating a Soundfont. Samples were recorded from my 1965 Harmony Rocket Hollowbody guitar straight into the mixing board. No loops (sorry, too advanced for me, maybe next time - or maybe you could loop them). The guitar is strung with 11 gauge flatwound strings and the neck pickup was used. Suitable for jazz. The lower register turned out pretty nice, but I'm not completely satisfied with the upper register (MIDI note 68 onward). Maybe somebody who has experience making Soundfonts and knows what they are doing could tweak it. Hope it's useful. Wish it was smaller, but didn't want to stretch the samples any further.
They couldn't exist in real life, but they are quite bright and fun! Triple octaves on the guitar, double on the mandolin. The guitar is from the Ultra GM set steel guitar, which it no longer resembles! The mandolin was the one on Hybrid. You may want to add a little reverb.
As promised: the clean version of my strat. Used in many songs because it is a patch with character, very realistic if you know how to handle the bender. 3 velolayers and many, many (shorty looped) samples.
