I made this kit out of common drum sounds mixed with some I've made myself and some extracted from popular music. Lot'z of hi-hatz and snarez (claps) on this one.. Nuthin' too grand about this one though.... Just sum more drum sounds. Still good though.
Okay....... This one begins on the left side starting with drums sampled from one of D'Angelo's old hits called "You're My Lady". Remember that one??? Well if you liked it, you'll like messing with those keys. Following those first five keys (all notes C through E), are a collection of kicks, toms and snares i've extracted and edited from different Oldies. I luv Oldies and I love those vintage sounding drums, so you know I had to go and build myself a kit! : ) You will also run into the occasional Timbaland and Neptunes sounds i've sprinkled here and there... Editing all these sounds wuz once again patience and time consuming so make some bangin tracks with 'em for me!!! - Mart
Hmmm... What can I say about this one... Well to make it short you can play the drum's to Dr. Dre's "Hypnotized", Prince's "Kiss", Digital Underground's "Humpty Dance", and a s*&tload of otherz I can't even think of right now.... This kit wuz made about one and a half years ago. I still use it every now and then... Take advantage of it's modern soundz! It'z for you po' folkz like me that can't afford the newest synths everytime they come out. Once again peoplez if you only knew the time it took me creating all these kits - editing every lil' sound's chop, fade and effect one step at a time.... wooo... you'd appreciate 'em too... Well, Timbland's "I", Aaliyah's "Four Page Letter", Eminem's "Stan", Q-Tip's "Vivrant Thang", Lauryn Hill's "Lost Ones", Timbaland's "Hey Papi", Vaughn Mason's "Bounce, Rock, Skate", Dr. Dre's "Ackrite", DJ Quik's "Sexuality", and many otherz. This one is yet another kit with samples created from popular music available a year and a half ago or so... Too many songz you can drum to in this kit for me to name! I'm gonna let you people at home whip up some beatz and see if you can find out which songs the different drum soundz were extracted from... You'll have alot of fun doin' that! If you're into rap music you'll probably just naturally start bangin' one out and be like "Oh s*&t, i think i'm playin' so and so's song... That'z crazy!!!" Have fun. - Mart
